Product Overview
Fluffy Silicone is a high-performance textile finishing auxiliary that utilizes specially modified silicone microemulsion technology. It is designed to impart fabrics with long-lasting fluffiness, ultra-softness, and elastic handfeel. Suitable for both natural and synthetic fibers, it significantly enhances the quality of towels, plush fabrics, knitwear, and premium home textiles.
Key Features
✔ 3D Fluffiness Effect
The unique silicone molecular structure forms an elastic network on fiber surfaces, significantly increasing fabric thickness and bulkiness while preventing fiber flattening—a common issue with traditional softeners.
✔ Ultra-Soft Velvet Touch
Dual-amino modification technology delivers smoothness comparable to natural fibers, improving handfeel by over 40% (tested via AATCC TM202).
✔ Yellowing Resistance & High Stability
-
Ionicity: Weak cationic/nonionic (optional)

-
pH Value: 5.0-7.0 (1% aqueous solution)

-
Heat resistance up to 200°C, ideal for high-temperature setting processes

✔ Eco-Friendly & Safe
-
Complies with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class I (infant-grade safety)

-
Free from APEO, formaldehyde, and heavy metals

Usage Guidelines
-
Exhaustion Method: 3-8% o.w.f., 40°C × 20min → Dewatering → Drying (110-130°C)

-
Padding Method: 20-50g/L, one-dip-one-nip (70% pickup) → Curing (150°C × 2min)

-
Note: Avoid mixing with anionic auxiliaries; recommended for weak acidic conditions

Competitive Advantages
◉ 25% higher fluffiness vs. conventional silicones (ASTM D5729 tested)
◉ 15% dosage reduction achieves comparable handfeel to competitors
◉ Excellent compatibility with resins, waterproofing agents, and other auxiliaries
